    This course studies basic macro- and microeconomic concepts. It focuses on the economic system of the United States and how it operates in relation to economic conditions throughout the world. The course deals with topics such as our
    monetary system, supply and demand, the corporation, banking, and the Federal Reserve System. This course enables students to see their role in our economic system. It satisfies the ½ credit of Economics required by New York State for high school graduation.
