Welcome to Global 9!
This year we will complete the first half of your two-year survey course in Global History and Geography. We will explore the development of history, geography, belief systems, society, culture, economies and political systems in Europe from the dawn of civilization up to the present day.
Through examining Europe’s chronological development, we will examine the impact European history has had on world history.
Course Objectives:
Interpret and evaluate historical evidence
Develop critical and analytical thinking
Hone research skills
Produce effective, convincing arguments
